The invite link asks for a specific set of permissions — each one maps to a real feature, not a blanket "just in case".
- Manage Roles — autoroles, reaction roles, temp roles, the Supporter role.
- Manage Channels — creating ticket channels and temp voice channels.
- Kick/Ban/Timeout Members — the moderation commands, only usable by staff with the matching Discord permission themselves.
- Send Messages / Embed Links — basically everything the bot posts.
- Manage Messages — the word filter and anti-spam removing messages, and message-based commands like clear.
A feature isn't working
If Iridex is missing a permission a feature needs, most commands say so directly rather than failing silently. Re-inviting the bot with the link on iridex.me refreshes its permissions without affecting any settings.
